ikuzes.com site was designed and launched in December of 2006 to replace my first personal website. The new design has been optimized to make use of CSS and Javascript technologies so that design changes and maintenance updates are easy to implement.
Both type styles and page layout are completely controlled by CSS. The XHTML follows a fully semantic markup.
The left hand navigation is controlled by a single external Javascript file, which designates how the navigation sections collapse and expand, as well as which sections to display as active.
The slide show function is Javascript-controlled, employing an adaptation of a script created by DynamicDrive. No Flash or animated GIFs have been used.
