Shadow Elite is a book about the influence that some informal networks have acquired in contemporary American politics and its implications for democracy.

Throughout 2006 and 2007, I was commissioned by Janine Wedel, the book author and a professor at George Mason University to create a series of graphics illustrating her research themes and conclusions. The complexity of data collected called for more than verbal explanation. I developed charts and graphs to help convey the meaning.

The book was published in 2010, and my illustrations were highly prased and featured at the book author's website and in media (2).
